Rice Chicago looked good - only two turnovers entire game. Defensive line got penetration and put a lot of pressure on QB. Rice of Chicago has a ton of speed this year. Smalling the WR could probably play college ball right now. Rice of Michigan is a decent team but they're down this year. Overall a nice W to start the year for the Crusaders. Dean of Selection can provide some additional details
Just one game long season but this Rice team looked better then 03 semi team to me.more explosive with their receivers. Qb perfect for system.had Phil Simms super bowl 21 accuracy going 21-26. Defense fundamentally better then recent years.making tackles, more pressure from them. Really interested for week 3 at Rambler.
Watching Rice yesterday is like watching Oregon. Huddles are for whimps. BR (MI) defense didn't know whether they were on foot or horseback. Pitch and catch all game with Miller and his many receivers. Smalling a tough a match up as anyone.

Getting me even more worried about SFHS's trip to Rice and I'm not talking about the small visitor bleachers....
not the same Rice team as last year. Qb play for Rice is a lot better and the D is a lot faster
