Bracewell Tuesday?

Is it possible for Bracewell to go on Tuesday, or have I missed something that prohibits him from pitching in SEC games?

Let Bracewell go 3 or 4 if he can, then see if some combination of Pollo/Woodruff/Holder can finish it off. Bracewell did good enough at the beginning of the year on his Friday starts to where I think he would be a viable option for Tuesday.

Personally I think we should let Pollo get the start, which I think at this point may be our best way to go outside of Stratton and Graveman. He's experienced and I think he's itching to get back out there and rectify the grand slam he gave up last year in the tournament.

That's 4 days rest, which is the standard rotation in pro baseball. The only reason college teams use a once a week rotation is they want to always have their ace available for Friday night. Only reason not to pitch Statton Tuesday is if Cohen just doesn't want to break up his routine.

If the Bears beat Kentucky we should start Stratton to give us the best chance of jumping to Game 10

If Kentucky wins we should do the Woodruff-Pollorena plan, saving Stratton for LSU

A Bear win would be huge for us.

4 days rest is NOT a short rest period. It's the standard for pitchers. Stratton threw 82 pitches on Thursday. He could go for 90-100 on Tuesday and be available if needed for Sunday with no problem. That said, I support Cohen's decision to save him for Wednesday or Thursday.
