how south carolina gets in this tournament?

Their resume is pretty damn terrible.

Im not attacking you b/c most projections have them in, but I can't figure out why.

However if UK gets in by any other means than winning the SEC tourney then I will have lost all faith in the selection committee.

I would have no problem w/ USC, and I hope they get in so our conference doesn't suffer more embarrasment.

and 3 are against the top 25,including a win over Michigan State.

South Carolina has one win over the top 50 and its no. 48 Florida. They have 11 wins over teams 170 or worse and 7 wins over 215 or worse.

3 wins over teams in the top 50 as of right now. 2 bad losses.

...a first place tie in what is perceived by many of the media types to be the better division-- the SEC East (even though head-to-head, the records among West and East are close) to go with their ten wins in the SEC.

Hell, Auburn has the same record. I really think Auburn should go before SC.

Big 10 RPI is second in the nation; SEC is sixth, and since Penn State's winning conference record in the second toughest conference in the nation is why I've got them in the tournament.

the big ten is not that much better than the sec.
Yes, yes it is.

Its painful to watch Big10 basketball games, they arent entertaining and are a good sleep aid...but the conference is solid nonetheless.

its not even close. Penn State is clearly more accomplished regardless of rpi.
