Kentucky replaced Mich St on the 4 seed line and Ohio State was unharmed by their loss, staying a 4 seed.Crème’s midnight update still has us at a 5, was hoping for better https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/s...lege-basketball-projections?consent_mode=cpra
Yeah that would be hard to ignore and thanks for lowering some of my negativity! I guess I am just upset because I feel like we have already demonstrated we are top 16 worthy but know the committee will not agree. Seems that we need to win at least two games to have a chance. Let’s start by winning one tonight.Win the ACCT and see what we've got.
We made it to the semis last year and earned a 3 seed. The ACCT will matter.I guess I am just in a negative mood this morning but I am beginning to think we will not end up hosting no matter what.
typo above: our record is 25-6KY is blown out by UofSC. Creme moved KY instead of us to the 4 seed yesterday after their convincing win over UGA but they will climb no higher and we could pass them with our own run.
KY closed the season 6 & 8 in the last 14 games and finished with a 23-10 record 9-9 in conf games, 5-9 in Quad 1 & 2-1 in Quad 2 (7-10 combined Q1-Q2)
By comparison UNC is currently 13-1 in the last 14 game with a 23-10 record, 14-4 in conf games, 4-5 in Quad 1 & 8-1 in Quad 2 (12-6 combined Q1-Q2)
Both teams are perfect in Q3 - Q4.
Somehow the NET before today has KY at 14th and us at 19th; makes no sense to me. The WAB flips that with us 14th and KY 18th.
Wash also lost today. They were not a current 4 seed contender but could have made noise with a deep B1G run.
And even worse in the RPI at 24.Minn is a bit of a paradox: 8th in NET but 17th in WAB. Not sure how that is possible. 5-7 in Quad 1 , 2-1 in Quad 2. Now 7-8 combined.
Yea this blinking red light bias.I just do not get it. Creme just does not like us. With those teams getting blown out, you would think our chances to move to a four see will increase some. It seems like we have to beat Louisville, and beat Duke in order for him to change in mind it just plain ridiculous especially how some of the SEC teams are getting blown out in their tournament.
WVU with too much hustle and toughness for the tall TCU team. Miles had a great start but not that effective after the first quarter. We really need TCU to beat WVa in the game that just started. A win by WVa most likely moves them into a host spot.
He'll probably like Iowa too despite losing to UCLA today by 51. At least UNC was within 12 entering the 4th quarter vs UCLA.Charlie is so blinded by the SEC blowouts he's convinced himself that only the SEC team can routinely be blowout by the top 3 and lose nothing actually rise. Now his bias has left him with West Virginia. Insane. SEC blowout bias
ACC TOP 4 TOURNAMENT TEAMS A Lock for top 16. Home games.
I really don’t get the obsession with Maryland. They’re 6-6 their last 12. They’ve lost 2 in a row- including by 20 to the team UCLA beat by 51 yesterday. Lost their first game of their conference tournament. Last year, the committee, ignored West Virginia’s NET of 12 and gave them a 6 seed. They’ve got a lower WAB, worse recent games record, fewer road wins, much less combined Q1/Q2 wins, and 2/3 of their wins are vs Q3/Q4 wins. They’ve committee has to decide if NET alone is worth more than literally every other category they choose from.In the his latest bracketology, Creme still has Carolina as a 5th seed with Maryland, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and West Virginia as his 4th seeds.
Agree.Hopefully we will be grouped with Minnesota either way. Hosting or not.
