I heard a Brad Edwards interview about UT's game against UGA. He made some good points about Tyler Bray and the UT offense that I think could play a major role when we play them. He said that Bray makes terrible decisions when under pressure, and hasn't gotten to where he throws well against a blitz yet. He said that while UT has a good passing game, if UGA can get a lead, it will force UT to pass while also allowing UGA to bring added pressure...which in turn, Edwards thinks would lead to Georgia blowing them out due to turnovers.
Now granted, that is the case for several teams...but I think it shows the importance of getting ahead early against them. If we have to protect against the big play because it's close, Bray will be able to settle in and possibly pick us apart. If we can get a lead, we can start bringing safeties and LB's, which could lead to INT's off of Bray's bad decisions, and us pulling away....especially at home.
This may seem elementary to all of our message board coaches, but I still found it interesting and thought I would share.
