Anyone know why he resigned as AD at Brandon?

Lot of conflicting information. I heard something similar to what Sumrall said. I've also heard about documentation issues on the non-renewal of a coach (possibly aformentioned softball coach?), and his decision was reversed and he was very upset. I think it all went down a week ago, surprised it stayed out of the press (Twitter, basically) as long as it did.

He will coach this season and it will be his last year at Brandon. Not sure who is taking over AD duties this year.

I think if that were the case he wouldn't have the opportunity to choose when he could resign.

You won't find another school district as political as the Rankin Co. School District. I have no clue what brought this on, but I am very much aware of how that district works. I worked there for a number of years and have a sense of how they operate.
