Bradshaw postpones decision

If he comes great. If he doesn't ok. At the end of the day I think many of us care a lot less about the whole college basketball circus than we did 5 years ago. Maybe it's just me but I started caring a lot less when the players stopped caring about the name on the jersey. NIL has just sped up the process.
It's all just a business now. Basically, it feels like trying to decide if you root more for Walmart, Target or Big Lots.

I don’t think he has seriously considered other schools besides UK, there isn’t any threat as far as schools go. I could see the G-League angle of the offer is enough.

We haven't recruited a top big Man out of high school since Townes. Given Cal still plays the archaic low post offense we HAVE TO HAVE a good big man with offensive skills to be successful. It is not an accident that our last Final 4 appearance was with Towns in the post. Cal has had giant whiffs at the position since. He needs to recruit a good one for this class or change his offense. If he does neither he will be looking for a new job in a couple of years
Bam?
Skal was the #1 ranked big in his class.

But I get your point. It's been pretty barren in that span, which is weird considering what Cal did with Cousins, Davis, Towns, and Bam, not to mention Richards.

I agree with this post wholeheartedly

I don’t buy the mom angle as there’s been no talk of him taking more visits after Peach Jam. If that was the reason I would’ve expected that to come out in the story. My possible theories: buying time for NIL bidding, waiting for G League offer, a little uncertainty with Ugonna a possibility, or him/coaches/Nike wanting him to announce at a particular time.

Me personally, I only want one of Kingsley or Bradshaw on the 23 team. This is NOT a very good big man class so I don’t see the need for two 5s with no positional flexibility. Bradshaw while having a nice shooting touch can’t play the 4 imo and Kingsley isn’t skilled enough. Give me Dilly, Reed, Wagner, Edwards/Jackson, Holland, Bradshaw/Kingsley, and a transfer portal 4/5 man for additions to the 23 team.

Do you feel the same about football?

Not as much. Those players are typically invested in 3 to 4 years of playing football at UK. They at least have to go to classes at some point and live as a college student. UK football is not an NFL farm team at this point. Most of those players will not even play professionally.

I have quoted this among several others on who has said it here. Go looking and you will find it.
I am not talking about a thread poster on here, I’m talking about legitimate source

need to cite your sources if you’re going to start a thread like this.

I’m not sure how locked in someone from Rockcastle County or Pikeville is to Aaron Bradshaw’s recruitment.

What in the world are you talking about? I quoted our insider that has stated it in a article posted for members and posted in threads on the paid site. Secondly I didn't start this thread.

Wasn't one of the reasons Wiggins didn't come to UK, despite being a UK lean forever, was that he didn't want to play with Julius Randle? I am sure the duffle bag of money from Adidas helped also but they're mutual dislike was the rumor at the time.
I never heard that and don’t believe it. Wiggins was going to UK until adidas showed up with 100,000 dollars and Bill Self’s smiling face.

I can't remember the last time we got a legit 5 star center that wasn't a upper class men transfer. Seems there is a lot of bad scuttlebutt out there or something with bigs and Calipari. Guards, no problem. 5s seem to want no part of us any more. You would think names like Towns, Davis, Boogie, Bam etc would make them flock here. I don't get it.

Nick Richards kept recruits away for a couple years too.

One theory is that Orlando Antigua was the key to our success with big men early on and when he left, it was hard to maintain that level of success not only landing big men, but developing them.

If there is any truth to that, then we should start seeing a resurgence now that Antigua is back. He should be able to reel in and develop the best big men.

We should be back to the old ways when it comes to big men with Antigua back. At least in theory.

I think the twins had something to do with his late change of heart too
something happened at one of the all star games if I remember correctly

I think Bradshaw is ours as long as the G-League doesn’t offer him a contract. It really sounds like the kid just wants to go ahead and get started as a pro and as soon as that opportunity presents itself, he will take it. If the G-League doesn’t want him, he will be at UK. No other program is really even being mentioned with him. Heck, he might be postponing his announcement because Cal told him not to announce for UK, if he wants to wait on a G-League offer. I doubt Cal wants a kid committing then changing to the G-League. He knows BBN will blame him if that happens.

I should have been an "insider". Man, these guys sure have the grift going.

Make a prediction. Get folks following you. Get hits and likes. Always leave an out. Change picks often so as to not to be revealed and be able to "look" connected.

These guys are good.
You can even be Marc “wrong on purpose” Maggard and make people pay for this information, lol

Pretty much described the hustle. Since we are the most active fan base and have the greatest number interested in up to the moment info, we are the ones who get preyed upon by these hucksters.

Mentioning UK gets the most clicks, hence we get attached to everyone.
