Whatever happen to Brandon Heavens? He threw one of my favorite blocks in bulldog history two years ago in the Gator Bowl but didn't see much of him last year or so far this year. Just more depth with better talent?
i have to say i was impressed with Bumphis saturday. I had been waiting for him to step up in an SEC game other than a game against ole miss. looks like with a better thrower it allows him to shine a little more. but overall i think i receivers are better and getting open a lot more. I we can keep Brewster. I like his attitude for an older coach and his experience is surely paying off. Don't know if it's him or just older more experience receivers but they seemed a lot better than last year out there saturday.
Maybe he gets a little credit, but he has only been here two weeks. I give more credit to them all being seniors, having experience, knowing the system, and not having to change directions to make the catch this year.
Bump should be close to the all time receiving TDs record now.
I think he needed 6 or so at the start of the season to be 1st all time and he already has 2. If Tyler keeps throwing like this Bumphis should break it. Speaking of which, does anyone have a link that shows our all time football records? I've found one before, but I haven't ever bookmarked it and can't ever find it.
Did we have any blatant drops by the receivers Saturday? Seems like there were a couple incompletions where Tyler put a little too much zip on the ball, but nothing cringe-worthy.
Marcus Green dropped a wide-open first down catch with room to run in our opening drive, which stalled out and resulted in a missed field goal. I hate kickers.
