but if he was a verbal to bama then that is enough. We need OL to build the future. he would be worth a spot to me for sure.
We put out a full court press on the guy but in the end Saban decided that Brandon Hill was just someone that Bama had to have. Which makes me think that he probably would not get 'processed' early unless they filled in with better OT's. But looking at their class it's definitely possible. I hope we haven't moved on and filled up our OL spots if he is interested.
If a recruit can change his mind and take back the verbal he gave to a school, schools should have the right to take back their offer they made to them. So if he is that good just get on the phone and call the worse verbal OL and say sorry but we are looking else where. Just my opinion.
But I think you have to be 110% sure that if you bump someone that the guy your inserting is going to sign. We may see this happen, but it won't be until signing day. Which stinks for hte kids but hey that's life. I'm not sure it will but it could, it has before when some players who we thought weren't going to qualify actually did. Mullen is actually pretty straight when dealing with numbers.
They do have the right to do that, they just have to live with the consequences of those actions. Bama can do it all day every day because there are 1000 other kids knocking on the door. Mullen can't afford to piss off HS coaches because they will remember that the next time you really want one of their players. It's a fine line.Big D said:
