It was the same way last year with Wall and Cousins. I believe that Cousins was commited to Memphis but never signed. Are these premier kids just attention whores?</p>

You have Lebron James coming to your games, calling you and what not all during the season. Then after the season you get to sign with Lebron James Inc. and have them represent you in the NBA. Who wouldn't sign with World Wide... I mean Kentucky.

It's all done within the rules and the loopholes. That's why the only things they've ever gotten Cal for are someone taking Rose's ACT for him and Camby signing with an agent too early.

Because elite players in the last few years have trended towards not signing early and waiting till the spring for coaching changes and players go pro. They want to be on a team that needs em right awayso they can showcase their skillsas early as possible and in the best way.
Sure this isnt all elite players by any means. But there is a good amount that are doingthis.

So nowthat UK is losing their elite PG and thereother elite PG, they have a gaping hole that needs to be filled by an elite PG...enter Knight who can play on and off ball guard.</p>

Its a good thing to have a proven track record ofgettingelite guards to the NBA in 1 year, coach an elite program, and have a spot open for your position.

The NCAA <span style="text-decoration:line-through">can't</span> doesn't want to prove anything. That's why.

If they really wanted to bust Cal and/or UK they could have done it multiple times by now. Much like USC and Ohio State in football.

who reportedly played pro-ball for Turkey, I believe. Looks like he'll get cleared by opening day while Sidney keeps his *** in the cooler.

I'm not buying it.

Like I've said many times, basketball is by far the dirtiest of all college sports, and it's because the AAU system is set up to have organized cheating that gets around the rules.

The NCAA really wants to bust Cal, which is why they've removed both of his Final Fours for things completely unrelated to his recruiting practices. They just can't bust him, despite the fact that he's flaunted his relationship with Worldwide Wes for years now. Street agents are the rule, not the exception in college basketball, and Calipari just so happens to have the best one of all in his pocket. The NBA's one and done rule has opened the door for a guy like Calipari to have a load of success. If that rule were to change or be eliminated, Calipari would be an average coach again. The one year rule came into affect prior to the 2005-2006 season. That just so happens to coincide with the same year when Calipari finally got Memphis over the hump and started his run of Elite Eight, Elite Eight, Runner-Up, Sweet Sixteen.

The NCAA could probably mess with Cal more than they do, and they may eventually, but there isn't a lot they can do because the paper trail is either nonexistent, or it is disguised in ways that fit within the NCAA by-laws.

because we'll have to deal with him for 2 or 3 years instead of just one.

He is the top pg in the nation, no way he is not a lottery pick next year.

Raymond Felton, Chris Paul, Greg Paulus, and Ty Lawson were all top rated PGs in their class and they all went to college for at least 2 years

Dude was the leading scorer in the Nike Hoops Summit game. Had like 34 on the US team. He looked real good.

You believe wrong.

He played on a team that had a player who gets paid. Same as that dude from WVU, Staiger from ISU, etc etc. They had to sit out due to another player on their team getting paid.
That rule hasnow been reversed and will not only help UK, but many other programs as well. This can be easily shownby quickly looking at the fact that programs in thepast besides just UK have landed international players in this very same situation.

This rule isnt just helping UK, its helping ANY team that has a player in the same situation.

As for including Sidney in this...thats just dumb and pointless. They arent the same situation, not even close.

So were Derrick Rose, Tyreke Evans, and John Wall and they didn't.<div>
</div><div>Calipari is going to pretty much make them go when he thinks their stock is at its highest. Which is why they all want to play for him.</div><div>
</div><div>Problem with Knight is, he's a 2 guard in a PG's body. Lamb will probably run the point.
