There is a chasm between Maye's character and CJ Johnson granted CJ is much younger. I think things worked out well for us in that regard and I could see Maye being the team leader we need on defense. Hopefully he'll prove to be the impact player on the field we all think he is capable of being.

and his attitude and effort. I just think of this guy in that spot....free to blitz...use his athletic ability....play the run...blow up screen plays....get shielded with the DL guys and basically run free. Like I said I loved Chris White's tenacity, but this guy can cause some major problems for our opponents. I think his ability is probably a step up from last year and if he brings the same attitude, consistency, ball hawking sense. great things...great things.
