Is going to be coming out of the bullpen for the time being. If Germans, please don't count it against my credibility. If you do count it against my credibility, I will just say I didn't say it.

I expect him to be used in long relief.

What's interesting is I think Pollorena can handle the Sunday spot in the rotation, but what about midweek? Maybe start Ross Mitchell? We have four midweek games left, but they are pretty important.

First of all, the whole "Germans" thing should be likened to Usm's TTT at this point- its run its course and is now obnoxiously retarded. I hope we wouldn't move Ross Mitchell, because at this point he is our 2nd best pitcher period (wishing Bracewell could go more than 3). As mentioned by others, there are no more "trial by error" games, so Woodruff and Evan Mitchell are officially our new secret weapons or weapons of mass destruction.

It's tempting to start Ross somewhere, but, until they prove me otherwise, someone is going to need #48 to bail them out every weekend, no matter what three other guys we start. To me, he's the MVP of the staff, and his role is as important as a Friday starter.

As far as Woodruff, we need to start bringing him in with the understanding that he's only pitching to a batter or two. That way, he won't be more discouraged when he gets taken out, he can't do too much damage, and any success will give him something to build on. It just needs to be done with "Slaughter" behind the plate.

First of all, no, the whole "Germans" thing is not over. Was it over when they bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

Why would anyone suggest taking Ross Mitchell out of the role he is in now, especially when he's having success?? Dumb. That should literally be a last resort.

What would be great is lindgren and graveman eating up innings and getting game to bracewell and holder. If that happened, Ross could come in at the first sign of trouble on Sunday. That said, lindgren and graveman haven't been pitching deep enough into games. This would be great weekend to start

Have you seen some of the starts we've gotten the last few weeks? A LOT of games where our starter didn't get out of the 2nd and gave up 4+ runs. If we don't turn that around soon, like right now, we're getting pretty close to last resort time. If you never moved a pitcher into a more prominent role because he was having success in the role he's in, all your best pitchers would be in middle relief (which might be where our team is right now).

I don't know what the 17 I'm thinking. We should just keep trotting Woodruff and E. Mitchell out there. Good point.
