Correct me if I am wrong, but once Powe got into UM, he did not have any other academic issues right. So how does Nick get in and not get put on the same program as Powe, who from what I have heard, was one of the most unintelligible college students ever.

Even with his supposed learning disability Powe was able to succeed because he put forth effort. Brassell just didn't give two *****. As the old saying goes, you can lead a horse to water...
Here's a video of him speaking. He sounds like a big football player from Wayne County, Mississippi. I think he actually comes off rather well.
not being able to read way too far. Jerrell is a smart guy with a head full of common sense. Wish he had played at State.
to get in and to graduate ( i think he did but if he left without graduating he was at least on track). brassell simply would not go to class. they would take him and deliver him to the classroom and he'd leave as soon as his "escort" left. just unfathomable to me.
