and would have liked to see a little more power for the stretch run, but Ankiel > Blanco and Farnsworth > Chavez. The third guy in the deal was from the Escobar trade, so not much invested there.
Also, Ankiel is hitting decently in the few games since his latest DL stint. If he can come in hot for a month or so, maybe he can outlast Troy Glaus' latest slump (.192 with 0 HRs in the last month ... who didn't see that coming?), and that alone would be worth Gregor Blanco. And, McLouth has 3 HRs already in 9 games at AAA.
That play by Melky was ugly. Laughing about it between innings was tough to watch too. Jair was already ready to kick somebody's *** after Arroyo hit his elbow ... maybe he'll give Cabby a piece of his mind.
