Well, my 12 year old self thinks this is pretty cool.

Reality is, if we get him for 2m/1yr, it's likely worth it to platoon him with Diaz in left. Center is out of the question in my opinion.

I see no reason not to take a flier on a guy for $2M for a year.

And if for no other reason, Chipper will have someone to talk to while on the DL.

Kind of ironic that I remember having endless debates in my teens about Andruw Jones one day becoming the best pure centerfielder in the modern game and eclipsing Griffey.

Boy, both sides of the argument fell to hell.
