Year after year people think this way, year after year they are disappointed. As long as it's played on a Sunday, the SEC final game will not matter. It never has, let history be your guide.

I still have no idea why the SEC won't fix such a no-brainer. But honestly, this really just helps Kentucky the majority of the time, so don't expect it to be changed any time soon.

Plus the NCAA would probably intervene.. Change something that would boost Kentucky's seed on 3 different occasions? Not a chance.

When has it ever helped us? We win the tournament almost every year and we still get screwed on seeding. It's clear every year that the seeds are completed on Saturday.

Nice breakdown Kev. I’m worried we could feasibly drop two in a row late season at Ole Miss and UT. Team is moving the right direction but that’s a dangerous stretch.

I think that's what a lot of us are saying. Move it to Saturday. What the conference is essentially doing is letting it's two best teams play a meaningless game, on tired bodies that can result in injury.

Just for the conference as a WHOLE.. move it to Saturday. Everyone wins, and the best SEC team will get a boost.

I feel extremely confident in at least 8-2. However I think we go 9-1. The way this team is playing I just don't see how anyone, but @TN beats us. @Miss St can be a tough game, but we didn't shoot that well in the 1st half and beat them by 21. Is the road where we have thrived going to matter that much?

The way we are playing I could see us going 10-0 also, but the ? is TN. We have a better team this year and easily could have got them 2 out of 3 last year had PJ not cramped up and missed the entire 2nd half. Just not sure what to expect with them. I do think we protect our home court this year, but winning down there might be tough for anyone. I like 9-1. Sure Kev could be right and we stumble on an off night and it's 8-2, but at least 8-2, probably 9-1. The difference is if we are keyed in and playing like we have then no one will surprise us. Not after FL.

Let’s see how we come out tonight.
If we jump on these guys and stretch the lead and win by 20 we are on course.

we play them ONE AT A TIME. As long as PJ, Herro, and KJ are on, we win. We did catch a break on the schedule by getting Tennessee at home first. We win that one, it will be easier to beat them in Knoxville.

That’s what I think and but it could be 9-1. I’m worried about the @ Miss State game as the potential second loss.

I’m thinking either Miss St or Ole Miss will be a loss. I don’t think we’ll lose both however.
