The hype in Tennessee is out of control. There are Nashville radio folks predicting 40tds and 4000 yards for Bray. I have yet to read a preview that doesn't have Bray in the top 3 QBs in the SEC.
So did you copy this previewfrom someone or did you come up with this yourself? I'm not sure which would be better in your case. Best I can tell your preview has him 2nd in the SEC for two reasons: he has good WR's and Tennessee's running game sucks. How could you overlook is tattoo?
2. Tennessee- Tyler Bray was having a solid season in 2011 ....His stats were great prior to his injury. Of course they camein five games that includedMontana, Cincinnati and Buffalo. Against SEC teams before his injury he was averaging 22 of 41 for 265 with 1.5 TDs and 1 INTs. Not bad. Not great.
but suffered an injury and missed half of it. ....he missed LSU, @Bama, SC and @Ark...The four toughest games on their schedule.
He has a big arm and the best WR group in the SEC.
Tennessee struggles to run the football, ....yes, they do. They were 116th in the nation last year
so they will rely heavily on him to produce. ......and defenses will focus on the pass.
He threw a high number of picks last season, but I think you will see that number drop in 2012. ....he threw 6 picks in 7 starts. You think he'll average less than.85 picks per game this year?
In SECgames (UF, UGA, UK, Vandy)last year Bray was 75 of 152 with 6 TDs and 6 Picks. That's what we have to go on.......and based on that people have him being really good. I don't get it.
