At Nebraska, that's what the offseason is for! Lucky for us the offseason is nearly 8 months long, so we have a lot of time to be happy.
Great get! Top 200 player, and only one on the roster with those measurables tied to power & quickness. Assume he will play this year.
And if we didn't get a 330 lb. DT, you would be complaining about why we aren't recruiting big DTs.

1. NU has agreed to make this young man rich.
2. He is under no performance requirements whatsoever.
3. He will collect every dime whether he plays a snap or not.
4. He can (and will) enter the portal after his freshman (rookie?) season with no repercussions whatsoever.

This is awesome! Exactly what we needed. I doubt he can play at a high level right away. Few defensive lineman can. But maybe he can avoid a redshirt and provide depth this Fall.
Welcome to modern college football. You also would complain if we didn’t sign him.
Wouldn't that same sentiment apply to every player, that is receiving any sort of NIL or RevShare, on every team in the country?
Rhule backed himself into a corner and put himself in a no win situation in regards to next year. His HS or portal recruiting is not good enough. He has no momentum leading into next year. But continues to talk the BS he does. He’s a dumb smart guy. Not a good coach but knows just to go through the motion until NU pays another buyout to make him go away.
