I'd agree, it doesn't sound super appealing out of the gate.
But I also had an orange pistachio tart last night at Taste, which sounds not that great... but it was delicious. So I guess you never know.
They're wasting their time. The only way they're going to top Muscadine Ripple, is with whipped cream and a cherry.
I bet it tastes like pumpkin pie but "pumpkin pie flavor" wouldn't be a Mississippi State thang.
Sweet potatoes are the 2nd most disgusting food in the world.

Yes and they are damn good as is, as fries, as pies and now I’m guessing ice cream as well.
And I’m assuming you didn’t know that Vardaman, MS is the sweet potato capital of the world and that Josh Dobbs (of UT -and now NE Patriots) has family from Vardaman MS
Van Leeuwen Ice Cream makes a sweet potato one. It’s pretty good.
And it's sweet potato pie. Not pumpkin pie. NO nutmeg. And they are delicious if you add enough butter and brown sugar.
I do them in the microwave and then put a little cinnamon and spray butter for a healthier option.
Sweet potato is the type of flavor my wife would choose to punish herself for having ice cream instead of enjoying it. Whenever she asks me to buy her crackers at the store, I literally look for the crackers that look like they’d taste the worst because that’s always what she wants. It’s like Southern Baptist communion wafers sprinkled with almond dust. Give me Cheez-Its

I went to an ice cream place in Vancouver that had all kinds flavors. Saffron. Wasabi. Maple Bacon. Seaweed. Ginger. It was a super popular place and some of the unexpected ones were excellent.

Agree. The blueberry might be OK but looks like it might have Blue Dye No. something-or-the-other in it.
You would have to eat double your weight in ice cream every day for 10 years for that blue dye to do anything to you
