That's his argument (she didn't do her job). Her argument is the order wasn't legally defensible.

Liberal constitutional scholar. She defied her duty. She was fired and deserved it. Trump well within his rights as President to issue that EO. This is not a close case.

From NPR:

Three sources close to the Justice Department confirmed that Yates, who had been planning to leave the department in a few days anyway after her successor won confirmation, knew her decision to speak out could lead to termination. But, the sources said, after "agonizing" over the situation, she felt strongly that the immigration order could represent a thinly veiled effort to target a particular religious group, and that was worth taking a stand.

It's not her call to discern anything "thinly veiled" about the order. It is either Constitutional or not. Thinly veiled assumes intent. The order must be interpreted as written.

Trump comes out the winner. She took on the President and lost.

The Blaze?

You lose.

No more serious consideration given to your arguments.

Who wrote the article? Jonathan Turley. Is he not a Constitutional Scholar. Is he not a liberal? Is he not qualified? Ridiculous for you to cite where the article was republished. Actually, a rather stupid display. I get lots of info from lib sites as long as the author is legitimate and Turley certainly is.

But given you lack of knowledge, you actually may not know who Turley is.

Are you talking about me? Really I have embarrassed you enough for the day but since you asked for it.

Four federal judges have now issued stays against Trump's order. The state of Washington is now filing suit against Trump, others to follow.

And all of this just in the first week. LOL!
Many conservatives have agreed the rollout of this executive order has been ill advised and ill orchestrated. In other words, what a disaster. Mitch McConnell himself said it is a very bad policy. [laughing][laughing][laughing]
You know how I can tell you are a Marshall grad? You change the subject when you know you are wrong and cant admit it. None of those judges orders will stop the order, they are all limited. Oh, land the President fired the acting Attorney General because she serves at his will and that is that. Now you go be a Marshall grad and count up all those declared victories and moral victories while I fit this mushroom stamp on your stupid little forehead.

No thanks. He even makes other Herd fans look intelligent. He's all yours.
