Well, I guess Alabama won't win the West either since they lost Smith, Coffee, Wilson, Antoine Caldwell, and Rashad Johnson.

And I guess LSU won't win it either since they lost Demetrius Byrd, Herman Johnson, Brett Helms, and three of their DL starters (5 of 8 on the DL two deep).

Point being, every team loses players, and every team loses key contributors. That's just the way it works. And no we don't have someone with Wallace's speed at WR. Lionel Breaux is close, and he'll get a lot of Wallace's snaps. And another guy that will get those snaps is 6-6 Melvin Harris.

We do lose a lot of key players, but the only spot where we have big questions heading into next year is the OL. There isn't a team in the SEC (besides Florida) that doesn't have questions at at least one position heading into next season. That's the way it works.

Bama and LSU have absolutely kicked *** recruiting in recent years (Bama pretty much just last year and this year). They're loaded with players to step in and replace those guys. Y'all don't have that kind of depth of talent. You should have another very good season next year, but you guys thinking you're going to improve on this season aren't being too realistic. It might happen. But just as likely is that you finish a win or 2 worse than this year (which is still a good season).

and realize that the team with the better record heading into the game won 12, the team with a worse record won four, and twice we had the same record. This to me is much more relevant than the "every other year except sometimes" trend. The better team usually wins. Any unbiased observer would think that Ole Miss will not only be better than us next year but significantly better. At this point they are the unquestioned favorite in the Egg Bowl. If you are projecting what they will do next season, we have to be considered in the probable wins.

fanbase. Just saying. I love how fans of other schools label an entire fanbase based on one person's opinion in a message board. Now ALL Ole Miss fans guarantee 10 wins next season!

When State fans say we are going to miss a player like Oher so much, but at the same time he is going to suck in the NFL. I've also heard many times about him while he was at Ole Miss that he was over rated and not that good of an o-lineman. But, now that we lose him we are going to miss him so much because he is so good. THis could be said for what State fans say about a lot of our players that go on to graduate. You people are rich.

I think they win the West and play UF for the SEC Championship. Tebow gets revenge for the 31-30 game.

This team has a serious shot a playing in a BCS game.

And the poster who said Oher was your 3rd best OL back in August was a UM fan. And he was roundly ridiculed on here for posting that.</p>

and a shot at the SECC. Having said that, it would not surprise me if they won 5.
