I bet the wake from the truckwas pushing wateragainst it. I know it was already wet inside, but that wouldn't make any difference to me if I owned it.

Don't know what law they were breaking. Could be trespassing on private property. Keep in mind if the guy falls and busts his head (he is skiing in 1-3 feet of water), he will probably try to sue the property owner. Maybe Nashville was under some kind of martial law. Maybe they were already told to stay off the streets. Don't know.

First of all, that is in affluent Franklin. Franklin police don't take any crap, which is why its still affluent. There was a thug one time that thought it would be cool to fire a gun into the air in Franklin. They arrested his *** and gave him a $1MM bail. His *** sat in jail for six months for a misdemeanor. Yes, it is harsh, but there's a reason its low crime.

The video shows them being cuffed, but my understand is that they weren't arrested. They were taken home to their parents and told to stop acting like an idiot.

but with the flood on, you would think the police had better things to do.

we tubed and skied down flooded roads all the time and I can remember more than once Sheriff deputies seeing us doing it and not saying a word. Was it stupid? Hell yea. Was it fun? Hell yea.<div>
</div><div>I think the cops overreacted in this case. Just ask the kids to stop and go home. You don't have to be Barney Fife or Billy Joe Bad *** and pull the cuffs on them.</div>
