Uhhhh... DA telling two sides to a story, so he's not obligated to file charges against her for a false report.

"She may well believe that this incident went further than what she wanted it to go," the DA said.

"She said that she had had a great time with Mr. Anderson ... and stated she hoped they would get together again," Caswell said. She also stated "that she wished she had actually had sex with Mr. Anderson but thought he was just being a nice guy."

"Police were able to view some of the ... messages that were on the friend's phone and confirm that the friend had accurately portrayed the content," Caswell said.

Two other friends told police the woman had bragged about being with Anderson and claimed that they had sexual intercourse, Caswell said.

I knew it, the whole thing stunk from the get go. No pun intended.

From the press conference it sounded like she had a boyfriend because after she had a conversation with a male that she was in a relationship with she then "remembered" being raped. Geez. Did the conversation go like this?: Him: I heard from all your friends that you hooked up with a football player! Her: No, I went out and got drunk and he raped me....I'm just remembering just now!

If so ... then wow! Wow, that's even more evil than I originally thought.

A friend of mine told me this same story about his teenaged son a few years ago. Only difference was it was her parents and not a boyfriend. They were caught together when they shouldn't have been and she cried assault to avoid the wrath of her parents.
No physical evidence, but he had to register as a sexual offender, due to the age of the girl.
And, yes, I realize I only heard one side of the story.
Just an ugly situation.
