Brent Pry to VT?

So, does this open the door for Larry Johnson to come back to Penn State? I'm pretty sure I saw LJ eating at the Tavern the other day.....Would a defensive coordinator job at Penn State be a step up from a Defensive line coach at O$U?
I would take either one coming back to Penn State to be DC. Robinson would be the grand slam hire with his recruiting ability.
The press release does not say VT coach, Price, that Pry is retaining is going to coach the dline. Here is what I cut from the release:
"Pry indicated that J.C. Price will remain on his staff as associate head coach/defensive coach." This seems to leave wiggle room for where he will coach and who Pry may add to the staff.

The Eagles DC may be looking for a job after their season is over. Just Sayin' if CJF wants to go the pro route.....
Say what you want about Franklin, he's got quite the coaching tree under him already. I believe everyone whom he took from Vandy moved on to better positions.
I can see him taking Scott and Lorig with him. Who recruits Virginia on our staff? Potential loss there maybe.
What about Yurcich? Is he gonna be pursued by any of these new HC's, including Pry?
I don't think so, his priority would be defense. Someone else mostly on staff would input that, BP might not be sold on the spread or rpo having lived through it for 10 years.
congrats to coach Pry! Well deserved and I wish him and his family well! My first thought for a DC was Sean spencer but I don’t know if he wants to stay in the NFL or not.
