Watching the lacrosse game. The offense of the lacross team is horrible! Is it his recruiting, coaching or both?

Team is young especially on O. All of our guys are essentially freshmen and sophs with a senior or two, one of whom is coming back.

That said there needs to be a deep dive on that side along with potentially moving some pieces around.

If we had just an average offense through the entire season, I’d guess Stony Brook, UMass, OSU, and Michigan would be wins. Maybe even Army since we dominated at the face off that game.

So now Rutgers and a program that has only been around for 13 years are the only Big Ten programs to never win a regular season or conference championship.

It is both to some degree but the majority of the issue is with coaching. You can look at the stats in goals per game, shooting percentage, unassisted vs assisted goals - all will tell you that we have a big problem and the eye test is just as damning. Our man up was so bad against Michigan that it felt like we had 5 guys on O and they had 6 on D.

We got the Maryland win which I am very happy for but we needed a perfect game from our Goalie/Defense and that is not a level we can reproduce weekly.

I have had it with Seremet and frankly if Brecht cannot recognize the problem and doesn't make a change then he is part of the problem.
Let's see what happens this off-season but I don't see how Rutgers fans cannot be frustrated.

Lets not forget the injuries to so many young players last year that really impacted their development and readiness for larger roles this year. That said, really no excuse for the SB, St. Joes, and UMass losses - that seemed more coaching and less talent issues.

so has everyone else in the conference. How long are you going to bang the drum for 2 NCAAs in 14 years?
Should have been 4 if we are being honest.

When did Michigan go to the Final Four? Enlighten the class.

So you are just spouting off and don’t know what you are talking about and are moving goalposts. Got it

If you don’t like the direction of the program do something about it. My guess is you don’t donate money or do NIL and just like to *****. Because that’s all you do. And you do it with fake news.

the point is Rutgers is probably the No. 5 program in a 6 program conference. that good enough for you, Cali?
This is just another guy that has a long
and disturbing history of never saying anything good about RU. Ignore his comments, he is just a malcontent. He searchs for negatives, true or not. If he went to Ru he must have failed out his grudge has no explanation.

Our close D, faceoff and goalie are all very solid. We have good players on attack and they are still young but feel our offense scheme are not getting open looks. Our D-mids need to create transition offense like we did in our final four run and that seems to be missing this year. It’s hard to put some our your best players in that role, as it’s a thankless role but very important

It's a very important role at Rutgers and one we are seeing guys come in now who played that role specifically in high school. We are losing our best SSDM after the season but we have some really good ones in Scalamandre and Conley who are first and second years. Scalamandre in particular has the chance to be elite. He's big, can run, and can play offense when he gets his chances. He's also a lock down defender. Hard to find all of that in one player. In our system though those are the guys. Attackmen often get the glory but the SSDM's, for those that know lacrosse are the gas that makes our engine go.

I know what I'm talking about and you don't like it. You don't refute the fact that this has been a bottom tier Big Ten program for three years so you launch personal attacks.

You literally just got proven you don't know what you are talking about. Every B1G team made the Final Four lol!

You have no idea about lacrosse, Brecht, or sports in general. You're here to troll. Everyone knows it.

The guy is just a cheerleader. Won't let the facts get in his way, just like that guy Trump he highlights in his posts. Two of a kind.

I’m a Rutgers fan and alum who lives in New Jersey. I enjoyed the game. Was a very nice win over a team we’ve dominated since B1G lacrosse began. The team is still 7-8 and needs 2 upsets to make the postseason.
