First thing Kelly is going to do at LSU is build a more structurally sound tower so filming of practice won’t be disturbed by hurricane winds.

Towers, who needs towers when you can fly drones or buy blimps? LSU satellite technology?

It's deeper - and actually more fundamental - than that. ND was fine with some concessions as they relate to facilities and fan experience, but not when it comes to player accommodations and academic integrity. For example - ND football players do not have their own dormitories. They live with the regular student body. That is by design. Until recently, they had to eat with the regular student body too (Kelly was able to convince ND administrators that football players needed a training table and because of practices may not be able to make it to dinner in the dining halls every night). They are also unwilling to add majors a lot of players are interested in just to get them to go to ND. All of this is sort of admirable noting ND was still doing well and again, one of fewer than a dozen teams to make the CFP since it's inception.
I agree entirely. And, I always thought that if college football got completely out-of-hand (I think it’s going there), the CSCs would de-emphasize or even drop football at ND.
Just an FYI, my brother, a first cousin, and a couple of extended cousins are all ND grads so I have a pretty good idea how things work out there. 🤓

Should have known better, it was Dennis Dodd with the 15 million report
True. According to a source cited in the below article, he will be tied with Tucker as the third highest paid coach. They estimate that he was being paid between $7 and $8 million per year at ND. IF that's correct, the LSU salary is still a healthy raise.

I heard Brian Kelly kicks his neighbor's cats. But first, he makes his neighbors spend money to buy cats, and only then does he kick them.

Kelly’s text to his players is priceless . You’re the best the greatest blah blah blah
Still out on the trail as a lame duck.

So Tx, LSU, TxTech, Wolfpack all have their finger signals, the one directed at PSU is much simpler.

I think Brian Kelly is a very good head coach. He vastly improved ND football, taking them to a NC game. I believe that he may win multiple NC at LSU, not just one.

I was out much of the day, saw the headline tonight, and did not see a thread here or a post in this thread.
Fair enough. I was just kidding. I will wait until tmw to see what your order is. Mine will probably be basic Dunkin’ Donuts drive thru bc I’m fancy like that 😀 have a good night!
