Man I get tired of these "false positives" on this site. Sorry but I'm a "fact only" guy. I hate these threads that get my hopes up. Wastes our time checking to see if it's true or not.

Not really a false positive...where is he gonna go?? He will be back
False positive by the OP. It wasn't proven yet he posted it anyway. I think you missed my point about false positives.

If Briscoe comes back (not convinced he will), He had a year to watch how a soph under Cal pg should play and lead. It is his turn.

Waiting for news that the UK guys not invited to the combine get private workouts for some NBA teams. Cal could make it happen and if doesn't, I'll be disappointed.

Briscoe on another team would have been the starting pg and put up
14ppg 5ast prob 5 reb and put his name in the draft and higher a agent. Didn't do it at UK because the best pg in the nation was there

I LOVE Briscoe and what he contributes, but he hasn't proven up to this point that he can shoot the basketball away from under the basket. High school stats don't count, some other school's what ifs don't count. If he can't knock down shots playing at UK, he can't do it on an NBA team. NBA guards have to be able to knock down open jumpers. It's really that simple.

And yes, Tyler was the best pg in the country but Briscoe had the ball in his hands an adequate amount of time and shot more bricks outside of 8 feet than I care to remember.
