Likely the best shot we get there I won’t complain about that. The elbow call is exactly why it’s so hard to win in the SEC on the road, that same play happens thousands of times with no call but as soon as there’s 30 seconds left they call that an offensive foul.

Brooks played decent today, but man why is he the one jacking the last 3. He honestly shouldn't even be on the court in that situation.
He lost the ball after a rebound which led to an Arky 3, he lost the inbounds play by pushing off, he let an alley-oop go thru his hands, he missed several wide open shots. Unfortunately, they are all game-impacting plays.

I thought he played pretty good today. You never see that last foul called, but Doug Shows likes to be seen. Oscar set a great screen for Grady and Wheeler just went the wrong way.

If you don’t think that the lack of potential matters to a team that is equal to the talent… Mr. Brooks matters less than more…

Anyone defending Brooks at this point has their blue color glasses on.

The only thing Brooks does well is finish in the open court that can be replaced by another player. Everything else he presents to this team is hot garbage.

I’m not gonna blame the guy for the push off thats a terrible call. Sure the lost rebound sucked but it happens. He also made a bunch of good plays down the stretch. He’s just the whipping boy so he gets all the hate. How about Grady go get the damn ball and make a play

He didn't play bad in my opinion. He just needs to know his limitations. I hope UK gets to play Arkansas in the SEC tourney. I think Notae will be Arkansas downfall in the tournament. He his a ball hog and they won't be playing at home.

Brooks plays losing basketball:

1. Kentucky up 2. Brooks rebounds, and then ball gets stripped. Arkansas kick out for wide-open three to take the lead. (turnover)

2. Blows wide open lob to tie the game. (turnover)

3. Elbows Arkansas player in the face when Kentucky is down one with a minute to go. (turnover)

4. Takes a WIDE OPEN three in crunch-time that hits the back of the iron so hard, the ball still hasn’t come down yet.

He’s not a winner.

Best shot we get is a 25% 3 point shooter taking the shot? He was open for a reason

He’s garbage when it matters. He’s soft as baby ****. Toppin should be the one playing during nut cutting time. Brooks is a major reason we lost.

In the last few minutes he got a defensive rebound that he let a guard take from him and throw it out for Arkansas to hit a 3. We went from up 2 with the ball to down 1 on that. On our next possession he tries shooting a jumper and gets blocked by a GUARD. Then of guard that stupid push off and bricked 3 at the end.

He was Arkansas’ 2nd or 3rd best player.

You shouldn't even be in the position to get that "horrible call" You just run an inbounds play and it never happens, but Sharpe couldn't learn it in time.

You are literally the worst poster on this board. No clue why I haven’t ignored you yet but thanks for quoting for to remind me.

Grady has a serious problem getting open.
Unless you’re quick as **** you can’t get open without some help and Grady isn’t quick. The only thing Cal ever has is do is set a half *** screen down low from Grady to run by. It’s not even a good screen. And they never run a double screen.

There’s ZERO excuse for not getting him more than 3 shots other than piss poor coaching.

Tyty missed a free throw in a tie game, we get the rebound, 20 seconds on the clock and this dipshit pulls the trigger on another stupid 18 footer that, of course, misses.

He has no concept of score, situation and time. We were in a dogfight and he was playing YMCA pick up ball.

I don't know why he thinks he can hit 18+ footers. He hit maybe 1 today, but took a dozen of them.

We have a very good team with alot of potential
but we are going to be behind in games and we're going to have games where late game execution in the final minutes will determine our fortunes in the tournament.

If Brooks isn't coached to a level where he understands his role and accepts it, then we aren't going to go far. Its an Achilles heel to this team.

Notice I said coaching, and not blaming Brooks. NO way should Brooks have had any understanding or belief he had a green light to shoot a 3 in that situation AFTER a time out.

Honestly, I won't blame Brooks.

The elbow call happens all the time. They called it. Lame.

The three, while not ideal, was wide open. Not saying he shouldn't take it, but nobody else could even get a three off (Tyty and Grady both had them blocked).

The problem is he was open because Arkansas left him open. Any time you’re taking the shot the defense wants you to take, it’s not a good shot.
