Not that he scored, but how he bated Snead into it.
Watched the replay this AM...If you haven't seen it, you must.
The announcers pointed this out...Broomfield shaded in, away from the receiver, when the ball was snapped, he was already in stride to get to the receiver.
Snead took it hook line and sinker...de-jocked him right there on the spot.

he was already in stride to get to the receiver.
To me, it looked like he was already in stride to take the interception, either way, it was a great "bait," & a great play

...yes, it worked well that time, but Broomfield got lucky. That's why teams had the deep ball against us at will...because we always bit and broke on the outs and hitches.

We were very young back there, and those guys will get better with age. Broomfield and Banks, especially, have huge upsides. That said, I hope to God we upgrade the coaching on the defensive side next year.

....for NFL scouts. Requirement #1 for an NFL QB is putting zip on a deep out patter thrown across the field. That's exactly what Snead tried and he couldn't put enough on it to keep the ball out of Broomfield's hands. That said, Broomfield is getting pretty good and making a break towards footballs.

He is better at getting to footballs than our WRs are. I'm looking at you, Coach Hud.

he constantly stares down his receivers. You could see that pick six coming right when he let it out of his hands. Even the pick we got when he attempted a pass to McCluster, he watched him run his entire route and then tried to get it to him.
