According to Papa Jefferson**

Dont know if the slippers were found, but there were rumors that the BRPD found his high school skills, but are apparently stumped and trying to figure out a way to give them back to him.**

appreciate the updates on the situation. TD has way too much excess on the subject, so it's hard to keep with what's new over there.

Having said that, how on earth does it require 44 bags of evidence for a bar fight?

Being that this entire altercation happened at a bar and LSU football players were involved, it seems that there would have been plenty of eyewitnesses of the "kick". Is Jefferson claiming that he didn't do it and no witness is coming forward? I'm no legal expert, but it seems that a couple of people saying "yeah, he did it" would be all that the police would need. Maybe that isn't happening, but the above ESPN article doesn't help much with details. I just can't remember many apartment searches following a college barfight like this one.

But a search is pretty much a one shot deal. It's not like you can go back later without another warrant, so you go in and take everything and sort it out later. Probably 42 or 43 of those bags will be returned to him and 1 used for evidence.

i'm sure friends of the victim are saying JJ did it and JJ's friends are saying he didnt. They just need some physical evidence to support one side or the other and they will proceed accordingly.

And even after he washes it off, there will still be traces that they can detect.

not to mention that the majority of the eyewitness accounts were probably from people that had been trashed for hours.

The 44 bags from the apartment search definitely makes you wonder, though. It seems that either the police were being extremely thorough or they found more than they were expecting. A lot of the major NCAA investigations seem to begin from something completely unrelated like this event.

emoticons are the white trash of the internet. It's for people who can't be clever. You want to have something about beating a dead horse? There is a much less douchy way of doing that. Look for a Gif, or better yet make your own. In short, grow up and be a man for once in your pitiful life!

very specific. The police have to spell out to the judge exactly what evidence they are looking to discover. If they find contraband that wasn't on the warrant, it will be confiscated but no charges can result. I'm sure the media will hear about what is found and the coaches might have a decision to make. Of course Miles will take the high road and ignore every thing possible.

i.e., they had a valid search warrant to look for the shoes or clothes or whatever, then he can be charged if any contraband is found. As long as one of two requirements are met:

(1) the contraband was in plain view inside the area to be searched, or
(2) the contraband was located in an area that should be searched according to the warrant.

The second part would cover, for instance, if he kept his stash in a shoebox in the closet. If the search warrant covers shoes, then it's reasonable to look in the shoebox, and thus, busted. If contraband is found, then the police can secure the location and go back to get another search warrant covering the contraband, and then REALLY get to searching.

Charges most definitely CAN result from such a situation.

Pardon me, I must have missed that mailout of global message board rules. I have moved a few times in the past few years so that could be the reason.**

I would upload more elaborate Gifs, but it freezes at anything over 500kb. And unlike you I have a job that takes up a lot of time, so I'm notas fortunate enoughto spend time on extravvagant Gifs and things of that nature. I'm too busy trying to solve our oil/gas problems so you can drive around in your pickup truck looking for someone else to put down. Its reallysad for someone to be so sour and bitter about life.

Holy hell man. You went from emoticon user to moron in three to four posts. If you have time to find an emoticon of a horse being beaten you can search google well enough to find something better.

You obviously aren't too busy if you are on TD and 6pack often. So don't give anyone that song and dance. Let us know when you get thatgas problem solved.

I can't believe you made it over 600 posts without showing that you can't take what most people here are very willing to dish out.
