When asked who he would voted for SEC Coach of the Year and Player of the Year, Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl said his choice was MSU's Rick Stansbury and Vanderbilt's Shan Foster.

He can't vote for himself so he's probably just voting for a coach he knows can't take it from him.

Joking of course. Butch Pierre also said he would vote for Stans. I agree with Gregg Ellis though. I think Pearl wins it.</p>

I just find it funny that coaches around the league and country like and respect Stansbury more than our own fans do sometimes.

UK fans and ESPN seem convinced that Gillespie deserves COY. Just imagine if he actually had a normal season for UK which would be around 24-25 wins <sarcasm>.
