The SEC/NCAA has no precedent. I thought Slive said SEC didnt hand down suspensions, wait just for coaches, ok. Also, did I miss the investigation into mens basketball, how long did that last? And Pearl gets less that Renardo? LMAO. Circus man, a circus

I can't think of another coach that committed that many violations, had that many players suspended for run ins with the law, and still maintained his job. The man is tougher to kill than a cockroach.

Bruce Pearl deserved way more than Renardo Sidney did.

He'll what about Bost vs Pearl? 8 games for committing the infractions vs 9 for not pulling out of the draft early enough.

Can anyone think of a suspension that was handed down by either the sec or NCAA that left msu fans saying "damn that could have been worse that it was!"

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Southeastern Conference commissioner Mike Slive has suspended Tennessee
coach Bruce Pearl for the Volunteers' first eight conference
games as punishment for violating NCAA rules and misleading
investigators.

That ******* said the conference doesn't have the authority to do these kinds of things, it is "up to the institution"

I hope some one in the press calls his ***** *** out on this.

doesn't like UT, hence the action, if it were one of 'his schools' he'd let the NCAA deal with it and drag his feet to help them out. it is what it is...slive being slive.
