Dan Seals, formerly of England Dan and John Ford Coley and then a country solo artist, died today. His older brother Jim Seals, from Seals and Crofts, is still alive.

Yea, he was England Dan during his pop years and later Dan Seals during his country years. Actually liked him much better than his brother (I believe) who was in Seals and Crofts.
