This is the level that Cal belongs at now so maybe he can take the Manhattan job and give Bruiser another assistant job he’s not cut out for. Then we can see Cal square off again with Pitino at St John’s. We’ll see what Cal’s head to head record would be against Pitino at a lesser school. Hint, it wouldn’t be good because Cal ain’t gonna coach em up.

Why do people say that. I don't think we have any evidence that would point to either way?

The only thing I know of Bruiser is that we played Allen at Miss State and we won. The kids played lose when Cal was ejected.
Because everyone on his is an insider 😕

For me, Bruiser was emblematic of Cal's growing disinterest. It seemed like he brought his retirement age buddy (who never had any success anywhere) in to run out the clock and cash checks with him. I really hope he goes, but I can't imagine why they'd want him and it doesn't seem like he wants to do that much work.

What the hell did Bruiser do to some of you people?
What the hell did Bruiser bring to the table to warrant being a assistant coach at Kentucky?
Doesn't make any difference if Bruiser leaves or not. He can leave here just like KT Turner did. And Calipari will replace them with 2 new assistants that's just as incompetent as Bruiser & KT are.
So are Orlando Antigua & Chin Coleman incompetent?

Bruiser as a head coach has not been to the NCAA Tournament since Tubby won it all at UK in '98. Apart of the ongoing disaster at IU that continued during his stint under Archie Miller. Then at UK 9-16, Saint Peter's and a 12 loss season. Doesn't sound like a very useful assistant and hope he gets the job. Anywhere but here. Wish he would take CCC with him.

It's what he didn't do. Is the program in any better shape than before he arrived? One moment against Mississippi State where Allen went off isn't enough to keep him around. People can scoff at Pastner, low hanging fruit but I'll take a guy with 14 years of experience with some of that in the ACC for a different perspective of ideas on the staff. Cal can use this spot and KT's to get that 'offensive coordinator' he wants because he sure can't run an offense. Bruiser's track record as an assistant & HC is underwhelming.

Why are your standards so low?

Maybe UK basketball isn't for you...
Maybe you take this a bit too serious, maybe take a step back? This isn't 1995 when its the same teams winning every year. Theres more parody, its not as easy as it was. Who's doing better?
