I only watched snippets until the end....why was he not playing at the end?

Stoudt came in with about 2:30 to go in the first half. It was a certain passing situation.
I think he played the rest of the game.

Bob Davie in scouting the Rebs must have figured out pretty quickly what they didn't let on. He was not very complimentary of Brunetti at all and didn't sound like there was any confidence that Brunetti could even complete a pass. On a possession early in the game when the Rebels had 3rd and 10, he said that they needed to be in 3rd and 4 or shorter to put Brunetti in a positive situation.

I wasn't impressed when I saw him play against South Panola in high school. He only completed about 35% of his passes in that game and didn't look like a big time recruit to me. Maybe if he had gotten with Mullen he would have developed into something special, but he'll never amout to anything as long as Nutt is his coach.

OK- which Nafoomer said it. Time to pay the piper.

In thread buy/sell- whoever did say it will try to show me up next week after Stoudt looks decent against Southern Illinois to show me that I'm "wrong".

"Mackey was our best QB last year- heonly redshirted because he needed to take some speech classes...he threw the best ball of any QB we had- even Masoli"

Mackey apparently is a very good passer in drills with no defense. Problem is when there's a defense on the field he's completely clueless. I've thought all along that Stoudt should be their QB, and I think he's probably taken over the starting job. They're going to have big problems if the injury to Bolden is as serious as it looks like it is.

No sympathy for that dude. He led Mullen on an entire summer, then took one trip to WVU and committed to them. Then, when it obviously doesn't work out, he chooses the worst possible place for a QB to get any type of coaching. He's about as good as he's ever gonna be at OM.
