"Ive been thinking about it a little bit but I'm solid to West Virginia right now." the infamous right now makes me wonder. Sorry if already discussed. Fingers crossed.

It sounds like we have a good shot. It seems that we are due for some breaks and today was a good day to start our long overdue run of GOOD luck with a win on the road against the others.

..and I've got to think a guy who is trying to justify stiffing a coach on a promised visit is helluva long way from switching his commit.

Xenomorph, that was just one interview...he's definitely visiting, and he's bringing his family. Does it sound like he's doing it as a favor to Mullen? Sort of, but in a rivals.com interview, he said it was "between West Virginia and Mississippi State." And I don't care why he's visiting, I just want him on campus; once he gets here, all bets are off. Mullen is very good with recruits in-person and has been all over Brunetti for a LONG time, and Brunetti has been extremely high on State before. He visited WV once and committed, so it's happened before and can certainly happen again. I wouldn't count on him switching, but it's certainly possible.

...since they play the same level of competition, and they run identical offenses, etc., etc., right Ronny?

The fact is that Brunetti is a gifted athlete with a strong arm who has won two state championships as a QB, and has beaten South Panola and Olive Branch, among others. He's got a long way to go from a passing standpoint, but he'll improve with some good coaching, and he'll get bigger and stronger, too. Favre, on the other hand, is a pretty good passing QB but he's undersized and gets bailed out by his WRs a lot.

I like both of them. By their junior years, we may have something special with either of them. But to say Favre is better based on what you saw on TV is retarded. There's a reason why his best offers besides us were Tulane and Southern Miss.

...when I saw them play.

Favre was playing in the North vs. South game & Brunetti was playing in the Army-sponsored all star game.

So you are the one coming off as the retard. Because, as usual, you don't know what the f*** you are talking about.

I realize this board is in love with Brunetti, & thinks Favre is crap, but it my opinion Favre is better than Brunetti. I'm sorry I'm going against the opinion of you & your sheep on this.

Favre is a "diamond in the rough" since nobody worth a damn offered him despite him breaking a ton of MS high school records. Your hero Sly Crooms would be proud.

...I didn't run to look up the stars of Brunetti & Favre after I saw them play.

They were both playing in all-star games with elite HS players. From what I saw, Favre just struck me as the best QB.

..why don't you stick to that & stay the hell out of this thread.

I realize you & your sixpack sheep are prone to attack anybody who strays from the sixpack-condoned opinions.

I am giving my opinion that I think Favre is better than Brunetti because of what I saw with my own 2 eyes. If you don't like that opinion, then go stalk coach34 & stay the the hell out of this thread.

...neither of them will play for a while if Russell and Relf stays healthy, but Brunetti will be ahead of Favre on the depth chart for their entire careers here, assuming Brunetti comes to State. Go ahead and archive it.
