Really not too surprised to see Ben Bryant commit to Wisconsin to be honest.
Bryant added a Badgers offer after taking part in the Badgers H-F satellite camp back in late July, Bryant hit it off really well with Wisconsin coaches including former MCC/Wisconsin QB Jon Budmayr who's the Badgers QB coach.
Bryant then made a few separate unofficial visits to Wisco and always came back talking very positive on the Badgers and the schools.
Bryant I feel is still the state's top QB in 2018 despite more names that have emerged. Bryant just has a maturity and poise to him that's pretty uncanny for a kid his age. Bryant can make all the required throws and I just feel he's a terrific fit in the Badgers pro style offense.
Bryant was starting to draw looks and more interest form the likes of Iowa, Indiana and others. I have no doubt he would have landed more offers yet in this day and age of QB recruiting? You either find an offer you want and grab it or risk it going away....so the timing of his decision will raise eyebrows but it really shouldn't.
Ranking: Currently a mid 3 star kid has a real chance of becoming say an upper 3 star level this spring and summer.
