Where did this maniac come from???

Also, nice job from Hood last night. We needed a couple players to step up with our big guys out and Bryant/Hood did exactly that. I'm beginning to think that the only thing that will prevent us from losing Hood after one season is the fact that he won't get all the looks he needs. He may have enough upside to leave, regardless, though.

midway through the second half there was no one on the court that couldeven slow downBryant. He looked like aNBA guard taking on a high school team, and it rattled the opposition something fierce. The ULM coach had to call timeout to stop our momentum or face an immediate blowout.
I'm not sure what gear Bryant shifted into, but I'm hoping we get to see it frequently.

/seriously, he really stepped up last night. I hope that he can continue to give that effort. Our team needs an energy guy, and he fits the bill. Nice to see Hood have a big game too. I REALLY wish we could design an offense around him.

We had the far superior athletes on the floor last night. I think Hood comes back, he just won't get enough shoots with Bost, Moultrie and the RSS on this team. I really hope the RSS, Moultrie and Hood all come back, imagine if we sign Pollard too. The longer the NBA has the lockout the better.

Cause I think you have a serious lack of understanding of what it takes to be a one-and-done NBA guy.

I can't imagine what the NBA would want with an athletic 6'8" guard that shoots 53% from the field and 42% from 3. They've never drafted a college freshman like that. Shawne Williams, DeMar Derozan, Xavier Henry, Tobias Harris to name a few...

Hood has comparable or better numbers than all those guys I just listed, and he's doing that by being the 3rd-4th option on offense much of the time. Nowhere in my post did I say he was a lock, but he could easily be in the draft conversation with continued play like that and a good showing in March.

But after seeing Hood play, he has all of the tools needed for the League. That said, he still plays a little passive at times and could use to put on some weight/muscle, which may give us another year possibly two with him.

6 games in he has already adjusted. His foot work on defense looked really good in last night's game, in addition to all the obvious stuff he did.

Deville can be a big help to us as well, he is super quick. He just has to learn to stay in control and quit doing the Gary **@%$!* Ervin impersonation.
