Like what I see. I see he grew an inch since his last measurement and is 6’9. Be nice if he adds a couple of more

I'm not a fan of the across the face shooting. Not sure when that started (Corey Sanders did it), or why it started... but if its effective, who am I to question

Yeah, his shot does not look pretty. He's not known as a shooter, I don't think.

In context of where RUs roster has been off the bench in the last 2 to 3 years.....consider the following.

Is Dortch at 6'9 and able to switch defensively onto smaller players AND does he have the foot speed and length to erase or alter shots?? That's YES to all 3 items.

Is Dortch, even without any additional strength, more likely to be able to get follow up rebounds, because he's 6'9 and a quick leaper?? YES.

If you consider those 4 to 5 factors, Dortch is probably more effective than what we got from Ogbole last year AND projects to be better than Reiber as a sophomore or junior and better than Wolf as a frosh or sophomore.

Considering Mag's inability to shoot from 3 (sub 25% career shooter from 3), I'm fairly confident Dortch will be better than Mag was as a frosh and that includes on the defensive end when Mag was a sophomore.

Dortch just has a higher floor on what we are used to having to develop in year past with other frosh in the past. He projects to be able to do a lot of the gritty and dirty work on the defensive end.

Truth is, we have no idea what Dortch is yet. Hopefully all your projections are right. Most likely, you were saying the same things about 6'9 Antonio Chol a few years ago.
