One of the things with pro sports. When you have so much financially invested in a player, you’re almost compelled to keep playing him just because of the financial investment.
Panthers should have taken Rattler....he would be a starter in Carolina.
He had 5 star talent around him at Bama. That made him look better than he really is.
You could be correct, but how would we really know? He didn't become garbage until he joined what was already a terrible team run by a terrible organization. He might be on his way to being an NFL bust, as a lot of Heisman quarterbacks have been, but I don't think Mahomes would thrive in Charlotte. They harken back to the first Tampa Bay team that went winless. They are that bad.
