Absolutely. But he doesn't have a right to stand over the plate forcing catcher to throw through or over him afterwards... It was a tough call to make, but I think they got it right.

I believe McDonald did not agree with the call. He didn't want to call out...

the ump, but did say over and over "that's a tough call"
