Every team has a case for and a case against their resumes. Even with a horrendous resume, Washington might not be left out by the committee since they are the Pac12 regular season champs. So I guess it's 3 out of 5.

it'd be NCSU,Texas,Cal,MSU,OM,ORU,Drexel. Ole Miss looked pretty damn good vs Tennessee and I would of given this spot to Tennessee had they won. Ole Miss was the better team. I put them in. We had a very good first 24 games. Plus we pass the common eye test with our wins over Arizona, aTm in MSG, over WVU, Vandy, Bama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Detroit and our very good showing vs Baylor and first half beat down of UK. We had a bad 5 game stretch but two of those L's were in OT both by 2 points and two more to UK and Bama. The Big East already has too many teams getting in. 17 the Big East bubble teams. ORU and Drexel get in instead of Washington and BYU. BYU is my first team out.

After watching that video you linked, I think the Dogs have about a 50-50 shot (possibly better) at getting a bid. I keep going back to 2010 when we were sure we were in and the selection committee basically said we needed to win the tourney. Translation: we were on the wrong side of the bubble heading into the tournament and we were in a must-win situation. It's possible that we were on the right side of the bubble this time heading into the conference tournament. If so, we may be OK. I also wonder how much our high profile television games where we lost — Baylor early and Kentucky late — may end up helping us. The way we lost those two games could help. And I think the Vandy win on the road was huge for our resume.
But I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm going in expecting we won't see our name on the board. Then again, what happens if we do make it? We never know which team is going to show up.

I see 4 teams that have no business being selected in my opinion: Washington, Northwestern, Ole Miss, Miami. I will say I base a lot of my opinion on the team's record vs the top 50 and top 100.

Beyond those 4, I don't feel Drexel should be in due to a very weak schedule and a weak rpi. Really the only two things they have going for them is their record and the away/neutral court record. But if they compiled that against mediocre teams, who cares?

Of the remaining 10, I think NCST, Cal, and Iona should be in. That leaves State, Marshall, Texas, Seton Hall, USF, ORU, and BYU for the last 4 spots. Of those teams, I'd have to give the nod to USF, BYU, Seton Hall, and us. I think Texas would be my 1 one out of the tournament. If St. Bonaventure wins today, that would bump us out.

That's not how it will happen I don't think, but that's how I would have it. Not sure why Iona isn't getting a bit more love, especially over Drexel who they have beat everywhere except in overall record.

Ole miss has no business even though their rip and SOS are higher than msu due to one less win against top 100. Your rose glasses are fogging your reasoning. Neither team deserves to be in it.

There are way more brackets with MSU in them and at the moment I can't find a bracket that has Ole Miss in it. Not saying that State is in but their chances are drastically higher than Ole Miss.

and there's no doubt that State passes the look test before OM. But....it's not as big a gap as some want to make it out. Don't forget that we did split this season, yet neither of our wins is consider a "good" win (or a bad loss for that matter) by the experts. At this point I think neither are in, and I hope I'm wrong on both accounts. What bothers me is the mediocre teams that get the benefit of the doubt simply because they play in a perceived "basketball" league.
