That interstate exit/entrance for that location is already a mess. Would guess a new bridge over the interstate is in the works or at least I hope so.
Not a mess in my experience but the long term plan is to add another exit a couple miles down.

MS can keep Trae. Dragons will take Buc-ees for the win - as long as the City isn't dumb enough to give up all the city sales tax for 10 years or something to get it.

I'll definitely check it out.... in about 5 years when the pandemonium dies down.
Exactly the convo I had with a buddy earlier. The FOMO around places opening in Omaha is ridiculous. Maybe I’m being obtuse, but when I lived in Charlotte, the lines for new places opening were never like what it was for: Chick fil a, Hurt’s Donuts, a below average Hawaiian food establishment, a coffee shop, soon to be a gas station… the list can probably go on.

I spent a week in a buc-ees one day... traveling through Georgia to Fla... ingested a great pulled pork sammich... on the way back got some jerky from the jerky shop... huge variety... also ingested a smoked beast sammich with a variety of dead animal meats stacked high... place was yuuuuuuuge.... and yes, greatest bathrooms ...
we never got gas either time...

I thought they would put one between Omaha and Lincoln eventually.

Craziest thing is that they will probably be the best BBQ place in the area.
I live near one in Texas and they are great places to stop off at but their BBQ is not great. Perhaps for Nebraska it might be okay but not down here in Texas. But for a quick BBQ sandwich to go they are okay. Y'all will enjoy having one near by.

..i mean no offense to you personally i swear, but is there a more proud group of foodies that Texans and BBQ? You can get great BBQ everywhere, but for some reason Texans are sure that as soon as you cross their state line its not as good. But I love the passion, because i'm just as passionate about some things as ya'll are about the BBQ down there.

In 1983 I passed on a chance to buy a 1200 square foot building on a large commercial lot (think it was over a acre)for 50K at the first intersection off of that exit. Wonder what’s on that now and what it would be worth today. 🤔

To me it is the clean bathrooms, the low gas prices, at least down here, the breakfast tacos and burritos and the coffee bar.

First of all, you ungrateful heathens, Buc-ees is the Mecca of gas stations. Secondly, their food is phenomenal and the jerky is, as Matt Rhule would say, elite. Thirdly, what other gas stations can you take pictures with the mascot?!?’ Fourthly, if you don’t want it, we’ll gladly take that one and 50 more down here in the south where we appreciate five star gas stations that lack meth hookers. (Although, that meth hooker comes in handy in a pinch!) Fifthly, like woman beater Chris Brown once said “i don’t see how you can hate from outside the club, you can’t even get in.” Sixthly, don’t let Will Compton hear you goons talking poorly about the gas station mecca. Seventhly, it is not a truck stop because semi trucks are not allowed at buc-ees. Eighthly, I’ll be honest i just wanted to see how many “ly’s” can go after a number before spellcheck starts questioning it. I didn’t know “eighthly” was a word. Ninthly, and most importantly, GO BIG RED!
