Been a good long while since we had a fight here in Vegas with this much attention. Concerned about Bud moving up that much weight. But he always finds a way to get it done
I think this is a hellua interesting fight. Both top notch at their trade and both maybe a bit past their absolute prime, but at 35 and 37 they both still have plenty left in the tank.
When Canelo fought Mayweather a long time ago, his hands were plenty fast but his feet were not quick enough to corral him, and I suspect it "could be" the same thing tonight.
I think its critical that Bud gets some respect early and lets Canelo know that he is capable of dinging him, if not, Canelo will try to be all over him.
I'm really hoping Bud can bring it on home, and I hope I'm wrong, but would not be surprised to see Canelo get him in the 8th round or so. Hope I'm wrong.
As you say, moving up to fight 2 weight classes against a champion at his natural fighting weight is the ultimate test of a champion that moves up in weight.
