This is a bogus decision. The commisioner has absolute power to make this right and will not. That is absurd. It would not change the game at all.

How's he supposed to make money off overturning the call?

That's all he cares about. 17 the game. Yeah he should have overturned it, and when asked about past calls not overturned, say "I wasn't commisioner then." Say this was a one-time only special circumstance, that did not affect the outcome of the game. Case closed. Spineless Selig strikes again.

I could understand if the blown call was on the 2nd out of the 4th inning or something but this was the 27th out! No reason at all not to make it right. I guess maybe Rogers Redding called Selig and told him that the replay was inconclusive.</p>
