If you were ever going to see Buffet live, this would be the concert to attend.

every one of my favorite musicians seem to ruin their concerts by passive aggressively throwing in their unwanted political opinions.

....he talks about the spill and shares his views? Really? You didn't expect that? It was kind of the point.

I may not agree with all he said but i don't think anyone deserves to speak his mind more than someone who just did what he did.

They may not be finely developed or mirror your own, but you should be intelligent and secure enough to listen to others without questioning their right to speak. As you are exercising your own! It's a WoW to me.

Ted Nugent or other conservative entertainers speak their views... Only when it's something they don't like.

it's the snide way in which they attempt to push across their particular view/opinion as right and that you must be out of your mind to think any other possible way.

And even worse is the sheep who follow it. For example, I saw James Taylor once in Huntsville, AL. You know it's a pro-Republican crowd. Well he starts off on his anti-Bush tirade, and the audience, stunned at first, then laughed and applauded the guys political views.

A lot of people, left and right, cringe when any f'n entertainer, no matter how ill-informed, thinks it's a good idea to waste my entertainment dollar and or time by espousing political viewpoints. Shut the f@ck up and entertain.
