Agreed. What evidence could they have found all this time later? I have no idea if he killed her or not, but neither do they.

My Dad was always fascinated by the story of Pusser and the State Line Mob. He would be all over this if he was still around. I can remember going through Corinth and up 45 one time back in the 70s and that was all he talked about.

I remember going to see Walking Tall at the local Drive-In Theatre in Pontotoc as a kid. Buford Pusser spoke at a meeting of the Cvivitans Club Pontotoc in the early 70's. I remember my dad telling me about his speech. Huge Disappointment
