Buick or 25K?....

1. Do I need a new car?
2. Taxes have to be paid on the Buick, OR the $25K. With the $25K at least I have cash to pay the taxes
3. IF I am smart, the $25K appreciates and the Buick depreciates
4. If I just want to blow $25K, maybe I want to go to Hawaii or Australia, or Las Vegas

I would take the money and run, of course I'm not old enough to have a Buick.

I'm not a big car person anyway, I just look at sticker price and MPG.

Although for the older generation, that's a pretty nice car. But there are better cars for less in that category.

I'd take the cash, but in this situation, the car was probably donated.

I guess they could get someone to donate $25K though.

However, to be worth $35,000, that would have to be the absolute top of the line Buick.......

If you want a Buick, take the Buick. If you don't want a Buick, take the cash.

I would take the cash.
