I know this has been asked a hundred times but I just graduated and wanted to join the bulldog club. Anyone got any advice how much/the best way to donate. Such as giving all at once or splitting it up.

how much and on what terms.

If you want to give all of your yearly donation up front - then do that. If you want to do it quarterly, monthly, etc - the Bulldog Club will work with you.

Just call the office or donate through your dog tag account online. I think if you donate online, you can't set up monthly payments - you have to make a lump sum payment or do the monthly payments yourself.

Their number is 662-325-3074.

So you're off to a good start. I think the minimum is $100 and DS mentioned all the payment possibilities. How you pay doesn't have an effect on the points you earn, just that you do end up paying.

You get points for the amount you pledged and the actual amount you've paid over a lifetime. So when you actually pay you get the points for lifetime giving while the money pledged that hasn't been paid yet doesn't count towards lifetime giving. Clear as mud right?

be sure to take advantage of that. Most companies with gift matching plans will match your gift to the BDC up to 80%. So if you donate $100, they will donate an additional $80 and you get credit for that on your account.

As in, $100 bucks up front vs $100 bucks over 12 months gets you the same points at the end of the year.

right?

But if you are ever hoping to get season tickets, you'll want to pay off all your pledges first so you have the most BC points available. That's all.

Not sure if you can setup auto-monthly payments. But you can make your pledge at the beginning of the year and manually pay it monthly, quarterly, whatever. You just go to your dogtag and type in the amount you want to pay.

You absolutely can. It can be done via the website or just call the office. They'll work with you to set it up in any manner.

the bad thing is you have to do it every year and remind them you want to set up an auto payment. It doesn't automatically roll over as far as I know.
