Why is Montez Phillips not listed as a commitment over there? Robertson did an interview with him on Scout and it seemed like, for the time being, he was solid. I know it's not a big deal, but you would think with the momentum this class has and the potential top 10 ranking that MSU could get on Rivals, it would be added. This guy that does the Bulldogblitz board lives in Texas, I think. Is there not someone that can run this board and do it the right way?

I emailed Bill King at Rivals Radio (Sirius Radio) last week about Pernell McPhee. He said that Pernell was listed as the number 5 Juco nationally and that traditionally results in a 5 star ranking on Rivals. He said that we are "killing it" in recruiting. It's a pretty good show for anybody that has Sirius.

As of the weekend, Jeremy Patterson, the guy over the site now, said he wasn't listing Phillips as a commit since he was still looking around and no one from Rivals had confirmed Steve's follow up.

As for the Blitz in general, the site is crap now. When Rob was there I preferred it to Scout because I feel like their recruit database is much better and I like the network better as a whole. However, now that the new regime of one is running the show it's brutal to visit. Patterson has said for months he was moving to Mississippi to "tear the state up," but is still living in TX. Half the posts on the board are of people bitching and asking questions about the direction of the site, which leads to one of the national guys running to defend Jeremy and more posts deletions than Gene's ever saw. I mean, how hard is it to find a decent campus guy? Unfortunately, my account has been set to buy an annual pass for years and I'm stuck with a membership until October.

Channel 122 from 9-12 CST.

They advertise it as channel 123 on the show, but on my listing it is channel 122. It's a nationwide show and basically all they talk about is college recruiting. It helps me out a lot in the Jackson area because I get tired of hearing about the Seattle Seahawks and life in Connecticut.
